Sagemont Preparatory School Innovation and Academic Scholarship
At Sagemont Prep, we inspire our students to explore, be creative, and come up with their own new ideas. We also urge them to take smart risks and learn about helping others. The Innovation and Academic Scholarship celebrates our students who do these things and reflect our school’s mission.
A Sagemont Prep Scholar loves to learn, solves problems, and works well with others. They also think about their actions and look for ways that they can improve and grow as a person.
Who Can Apply?
Students who are going into 3rd to12th grade for the 2025-2026 school year can apply.
New students must apply to Sagemont Prep for the 2025-2026 school year. We award the scholarship upon enrollment.
What Does the Scholarship Offer?
Students chosen as Innovation and Academic Scholars will receive a scholarship of up to $5,000 for the 2025-2026 school year. The scholarship can be renewed each year in the same school level (elementary, middle, or high school). This is dependent on the student keeping good grades, behaving well, and completing the priority re-enrollment process.
How to Apply
Submit the scholarship application by April 20, 2024.
New students need to complete the Sagemont Prep application (the scholarship process does not impact regular admissions). They must also send their grades from the past two years. New students need to provide two letters of recommendation (including the email addresses of recommenders).
Take part in a 15-minute in-person interview with the scholarship panel. We encourage students to showcase their curiosity! You can do this with a demonstration, a video, or similar presentation.
Students will find out if they received the scholarship by June 28, 2024.
